The University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) is committed to an eco-conscious and interactive approach to parking with its new Bicycle Enforcement Program.In March 2011, UCSB received a Gold Award in the League of American Bicyclists’ inaugural Bicycle Friendly University Program. This award not only recognized UCSB’s commitment to bicycling as a transportation alternative, but it also paved the way for Parking Enforcement and Events Supervisor, Chris Zbinden, to develop an alternative enforcement program using bicycles.
