The NPA Board of Directors is the governing body for the National Parking Association. The up to 16-person Board is responsible for fostering the mission, vision and strategic direction of the association for the betterment of the parking industry and NPA members. The Board is responsible for creating the organization's long-term vision, setting policy and establishing program direction.

Board Directors eligible for a second term will be presented to the Nominating Committee and the Board for a vote. New Board candidate applications are due July 15th of each year.

All NPA members may apply to the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee Chair coordinates the nomination process.

In the summer of 1981, Alan was working on a plan to make some money before his senior year at the University of Connecticut. With a small loan from his grandfather, he began parking cars at a restaurant in downtown Hartford, CT. By summer’s end, he was managing five parking locations and 30 employees.

Today with his original partners and lifelong friends, Jeff Karp and Michael Harth, Al is the driving personality behind the incredible company culture that continues to make LAZ Parking one of the the fastest-growing parking company in the United States. Read more.

Nicolle Judge
President, SkyPark

Nicolle is the President of SkyPark, an off airport parking facility serving San Francisco International Airport. She was part of the team that opened SkyPark in 1987 and has served in many roles over the years helping grow the business into the first class operation that it is today.

Nicolle has been a member of the board for The National Parking Association since 2008. She’s also on the Advisory Committee of the Bay Area Women and Children’s Center in San Francisco and has served on the board of the Bay Area Business Travel Association.

Robert A. Zuritsky
President, Parkway Corporation

As President, Robert has positioned Parkway to continue as an industry leader in parking management, development, and technology. Rob began his parking and business education at age 12 by working various field positions at Parkway's facilities, advancing steadily through the ranks until ultimately assuming the position of President in July, 2002.

In his role as President, he oversees each of Parkway's departments and leads the Company's strategic growth through garage acquisition, real estate development, and new management opportunities. Rob received his M.B.A. from Temple University in 2001. He currently serves as the President of the Philadelphia Parking Association and is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization. He also actively serves on nine boards, including a financial institution, several parking technology companies, and the Philadelphia Municipal Authority, in addition to supporting the arts and a number of charitable organizations.

David Damus, MBA, JD
CEO, System Property Development. Inc.

David serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of System Property Development Company, Inc. (“System Property”) and its subsidiaries based in Pasadena, California. System Property owns a national commercial real estate portfolio in major markets from Los Angeles to New York. David's unique blend of experience encompasses real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, labor law, all aspects of parking and construction projects. David has completed more than one billion dollars in real estate transactions and is a member of both the California and Pennsylvania State Bars.

David received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Southern California and his law degree from Vanderbilt University. He serves on several Board of Directors, including The National Parking Association, (Treasurer), Vanderbilt University Law School, Board of Advisors, Campbell Hall School (Studio City, CA) and Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, CA).

Frank Ching, CPP, MBA
Sr. Director Planning & Countywide Parking Management, Los Angeles County Metro Authority

Frank is the former parking administrator for the city of Santa Monica. He now serves as director of countywide parking management for the Los Angeles Transit Authority. Frank manage and administrates the entire supportive transit parking program for the countywide transit system. The program contains 87 Park & Ride locations and over 26,000 parking spaces.

Frank is also the 2014 NPA Innovator of the Year for his role as the City Parking Administrator, City of Santa Monica – Parking Operations. Frank transformed the Santa Monica’s parking operations into a modern, efficient and sustainable operation, which now generates annual revenues of more than $58 million and features the latest technology.

Mark Muglich
Retired President, ABM Parking Services

Mark has over thirty-five years experience managing every type of parking operation and facility in the industry. His philosophy for growth is articulated in his Indoctrination and Development Program for operating personnel – “customer and client satisfaction are a direct result of the professionalism you put into your work.”

Mark joined Ampco System Parking in 1973 as a Parking Facility Manager and was later successively promoted to City, Division, Regional Manager, Regional Vice President, Senior Vice President and President. Read more.
