Fair Tax Policy Forum 2017:
Recent Labor and Employment Law Trends Affecting the Parking Industry

Exclusive NPA Member Benefit

August 3, 2017
3:00 p.m. Eastern
Conference Call

This year's forum will discuss recent changes in labor and employment law at the federal, state and local level.  Although California is at the forefront on many of these issues, several other states and cities have become very active in passing pro-employee laws and regulations as well.  Many timely topics will be discussed, like the status of the DOL's overtime and persuader rules, health care reform, ban the box laws, credit check laws, predictive scheduling and on call laws, salary history and pay equity laws, minimum wage increases, meal and break period issues, arbitration agreements and class action waivers.

Hear from employment lawyer and NPA Legal Counsel Mike Stevens, Partner of Arent Fox, LLP, about how these trends are affecting parking. His industry specific insights can give you tips on compliance, pitfalls to avoid and ways to best manage to protect your organization from wage and hour and other employment law liabilities.
