Ruth Beaman, Founder

Ruth Beaman started WOMEN IN PARKING in 2011 to champion women in the parking industry and provide them with a path to realize their dreams as professionals and leaders. Ruth, an entrepreneur, is a principal and founder in IntegraPark, a software solutions provider. Previously, she held a management role in accounting at a parking management company.

She is dedicated to honesty, integrity and paying it forward—to help women realize their potential in the parking industry and in their lives.

Founded in 2011, WOMEN IN PARKING (WIP) is an association of professionals who foster the advancement and achievement of women in our industry. WIP members represent every discipline of the parking industry. We share a common goal to provide opportunities in the areas of career advancement and networking.

We welcome you to join our association and be a part of a fast growing network of professional women who share expert knowledge, relevant industry trends and potential business opportunities with each other.

How It Started: Agroup of parking professionals recognized that while women continue to emerge from all disciplines within the parking industry, opportunities to narrow the gap between men and women in terms of promotion, advancement and C-level presence in the board room still exist. To ensure the talents of women in the parking industry are fully utilized, the group established WOMEN IN PARKING. In 2019, National Parking Association (NPA) and WOMEN IN PARKING (WIP), long-time collaborators and peer organizations, united.
