|Coronavirus (COVID-19) Letter from the NPA President|
A Message from NPA’s President
Dear NPA Members:
The parking industry is facing a great challenge with the impact of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
At this time, we as an industry are coming together. It is heartwarming to hear of the companies who are keeping their workers on—even though parking has plunged with shelter in place or stay at home orders. For those who may be furloughed, the industry is on the Hill seeking aid to provide you with relief during the furlough.
With the NPA Board of Directors, led by Nicolle Judge, we are tirelessly on the Hill working with Senate & House leaders to advocate for relief for the parking industry to help us bridge these difficult times.
In these few short weeks, we’ve seen an outpouring of camaraderie, aid and unity in standing together as an industry. We are here for you, our members, during these trying times. When federal aid becomes available, we will get the word out to help you access programs and resources to help sustain your organizations and employees during the crisis.
As you navigate the impact on your operation, we have complimentary resources for members from peer discussion calls to issue briefings and COVID-19 response webinar. These are all available to you to connect, learn and apply the best, most current information to leading through this crisis.
The parking industry leaders and employees, at every level, are a pragmatic and practical group. Respond to our issue alert and contact your representatives. As a community we must remain visible, vigilant and resolute.
