Who Is Eligible?

Composed primarily of engineers, consultants and architects, members of the NPA Parking Consultants Council (PCC) share technical & regulatory information & trends that improve the industry consulting practices of members.

PCC members contribute industry knowledge through technical publications for NPA. Subjects include design, construction and maintenance of parking facilities, recommended guidelines for zoning ordinances, and other issues of importance to traffic engineers, state and municipal officials, urban planners and parking executives.

Membership in this council recognizes your stature, accomplishment and industry credentials. You stand out as an industry leader, when you are accepted into this peer-reviewed leadership group.

Dues

This is an individual membership. Annual dues are $925.

How to Join

To apply for membership in the NPA Parking Consultants Council, download and complete the fillable application form (PDF) and then submit it to NPA online.

In your application, you must be ready to enter the following information: 1) affirmation that you have 5 years’ experience as a parking consultant; 2) short description of your duties at the firm; and 3) three descriptions of completed projects with reference contacts from three different clients.

Your application undergoes peer review by the Council and its leadership for an approval vote. Acceptance into the council is a career credential and accomplishment.

About Peer-Reviewed Membership

To qualify for admittance into the NPA Parking Consultants you attest that you have at least 5-years full time experience with a firm that provides parking consulting services to clients for a fee. Your application should be sponsored by an existing PCC member. 

If you don’t yet have 5 years’ experience, you can join NPA as an Associate member & then apply for PCC membership at a later date. And, at least 50% of your time must be dedicated to performing services in 1 of 10 parking consulting disciplines.

About the PCC

The purpose of the NPA Parking Consultants Council is to:
To advance the parking consulting profession. To serve and assist members. To provide an organizational voice and leadership opportunities within the NPA. To develop, improve, and promote best practices in all aspects of the parking industry.
 
As a council member, you honor NPA’s Code of Ethics and the council’s ethical guidelines. You attend at least 1 in person council meeting annually. Members outside of North America are exempt from the meeting requirement. You serve on at least 1 PCC committee to contribute to the industry’s body of knowledge.
