Following a period of field operations and strategic promotions, Ryan became CEO of Premier Parking in 2008. Today, in addition to his role as CEO, Ryan is a major shareholder of Premier Parking. Ryan has been responsible for transforming the company from one parking lot in Nashville, to one of the most respected, fastest growing parking management companies in the country. The breadth of the organization and expansive scope of services enables Premier to provide solutions for surface parking lots, commercial garages, office buildings, special events, sports & entertainment venues, mixed-use buildings, residential buildings, retail buildings, hotels and healthcare facilities. Ryan has ignited the growth of the company to its current portfolio of over 380 parking assets in 31 markets. Simultaneously, he created a culture within the organization that has earned recognition as a “winner” and a “finalist” of “Best Places to Work” and “Small Business Awards” in Nashville.

Ryan is an active member of the Phoenix Club, Young Presidents’ Organization, Kiwanis Club, Urban Land Institute, Nashville City Club, West End Community Church, Hillwood Country Club, Nashville Downtown Partnership, International Parking Institute and the National Parking Association.

Ryan is a board member of the Edna Adan Hospital Foundation and a Tennessee advisory board member of ServisFirst Bank.

Ryan attended Tennessee State University where he earned a BA Degree in Real Estate and Urban Development. Ryan also earned a MBA through the executive MBA program at Lipscomb University. Ryan currently resides in the Cherokee Park neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife (Betsy) and daughter (Vivian) and son (Bo).


David Damus
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Mr. David Damus serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of System Property Development Company, Inc. (“System Property”) and its subsidiaries based in Pasadena, California. System Property owns a national commercial real estate portfolio in major markets from Los Angeles to New York. Mr. Damus’ unique blend of experience encompasses real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, labor law, all aspects of parking and construction projects. Mr. Damus has completed more than one billion dollars in real estate transactions and is a member of both the California and Pennsylvania State Bars.

Mr. Damus received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Southern California and his law degree from Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Damus serves on several Board of Directors, including The National Parking Association, (Secretary), Vanderbilt University Law School, Board of Advisors, Campbell Hall School (Studio City, CA) and Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, CA).

Saul FrancesSaul Frances

City of Miami Beach, Florida

Saul Frances is the Parking Department Director for the City of Miami Beach. He has over 30 years of municipal parking experience. Saul has held his current title for 17 years and was previously the Assistant Parking Department Director since 1993. Additionally, Saul held the positions of Director of Operations and Director of Planning and Development at the Miami Parking Authority before joining Miami Beach.

In his current position as Director, Saul manages a $60M annual budget for the City’s Parking Enterprise Fund which is composed of 10 municipal parking garages, 69 surface parking lots, 9,000 metered spaces, and 20+ residential parking zones. In addition to parking, Saul administers one of the most successful bike sharing services (Citibike, formerly known as DecoBike) in the country which provides over one million bike trips, annually. Citibike is the only fully funded private bike sharing service in the country that revenue shares with the parking system.

Saul holds a Bachelors of Business Administration, Florida International University and is a member of the International Parking Institute (IPI) where he was certified as a CAPP (Certified Administrator of Public Parking) in 1997.

Michael Hoffmann is Manager for Parking Services at the sportscar manufacturer Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG.

Michael is responsible for the strategic conception and business development of innovative parking services. In this role, Michael manages and coordinates parking related initiatives, business relationships and in-depth product specifications.

Michael has extensive experience in building up new business models. He founded his first company during High School and a second later following his collegiate studies. After building up both companies and leading them for a period of time, he accomplished two successful exits.

Michael received a Diploma Degree in Management in Industry at the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart, Germany, and a Bachelor of Arts degree at the Open University in Milton Keynes, UK. Furthermore, he holds a MBA degree from the leading German Business School “WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management”. During the program, he passed international modules at the Columbia University in New York, CEIBS in Shanghai and IIMB in Bangalore.

Michael is a member of the Advisory Board of the Master in Entrepreneurship program at the “WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management”. Michael is part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of WHU, with the founders from such companies as evopark, Rocket Internet and Zalando.

David Martinez, P.E., M.B.A., LEED AP, is the Director of the Office of Capital Improvements for the City of Miami Beach, Florida. Miami Beach blends the pleasures of a tropical island with that of a sophisticated metropolis. Boasting seven miles of breathtaking beaches, it has an unrivaled reputation for its nightlife, Art Deco and MiMo architecture, culinary offerings, and world renowned arts and culture. On the front lines of climate change, this urban-island is often hailed to be writing the book on sea level rise adaptation and mitigation through its estimated $500 million storm-water infrastructure program.

As director, David is responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the department, as well as, implementing the City’s aggressive capital improvement program. Mr. Martinez received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Florida International University. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in Florida.

David’s engineering and construction industry experience spans more than 30 years and includes project development and construction management of vertical structures, underground and utility infrastructure, complete site development, earthwork and roadways in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Martinez has directed and managed the construction of millions of dollars of municipal, commercial, industrial and public works projects.

Dan Roarty is the President and COO of ParkWhiz. Dan has spent most of his career building two-sided online marketplaces, focused on creating technology led customer experiences that blow away the old way of doing things while giving sellers new, more efficient channels to grow their businesses. Through his work in Automotive, Travel, Real Estate and Local categories - Dan has built platforms that have sold tens of billions of dollars to tens of millions of people online and on mobile phones.

Most recently Dan ran the Restaurants vertical at Groupon bringing millions of customers into restaurants from McDonald’s to LeCirque. Prior to that, Dan ran Product Management and new product development for several of Groupon’s innovations in Local Commerce including building a delivery service, several online booking products, new card-linked discount products and more.

Prior to Groupon, Dan was CMO of Vast - a B2B2C platform for used cars, travel and real estate that was delivered for clients like Kelly Blue Book, Yahoo, AOL, Southwest Airlines, USAA, Microsoft and more. The platform aggregated millions of car, vacation rental and real estate listings from thousands of sites and created a powerful, monetized lead gen network for dealers and brokers across the country.

At Orbitz, Dan was GVP of Alliance Marketing, building a new ad-based business model on top of Orbitz’s massive transactional model. Dan also had roles at Trilogy Software and Accenture earlier in his career focused on the Auto industry and business intelligence technologies.

Dan has an MBA and BBA from the University of Michigan, lives in Chicago with his wife and three young children and despite their continued futility, remains a Lions fan.

Mike Stevens is a partner at the law firm of Arent Fox. There he leads the national Labor & Employment practice and focuses on representing clients in diverse and complex labor and employment law matters. In addition, he advises and defends clients with respect to public accommodation discrimination and fair housing matters. The scope of his practice is nationwide.

Mike has substantial experience in a variety of industries, including real estate, parking, health care, professional services, education, government contracts, automobile and automotive parts, building services, construction, and hospitality. He represents clients in both the private and public sectors.

As an experienced litigator, advisor, and negotiator, Mike regularly assists clients in matters involving union organizing campaigns; proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board; labor negotiations and arbitrations; employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases before agencies and courts.

In addition, Mike advises clients on employment law issues arising out of the sale of businesses and similar corporate transactions, including reorganizations and restructurings. Mike regularly conducts training for managers and line employees on a variety of labor and employment law topics.

Mike is a member of the American Bar Association’s Section on Labor and Employment Law. He currently serves as outside legal counsel to the National Parking Association.

Every year since 2006, Chambers USA has recognized Mike as a leading employment lawyer in Washington, DC. Also, Mike has been noted multiple times in the Washington Business Journal's “Top Washington Lawyers” for his work in employment law. He has received a top “AV” peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mike has been recognized by the Washington, DC edition of Super Lawyers every year since 2012 in the area of labor & employment law.

Mike is very active in the community. He has served on the boards and host committees of several nonprofit organizations. He is also an avid but very mediocre golfer, and is passionate about Bruce Springsteen and the Washington Redskins. Mike spends as much time as he can with his toes in the water in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Rob Valentine is the Managing Director for Transport & Infrastructure Group, North American Sponsor Coverage at Macquarie Capital.

He is a career-long advisor on buying, selling and financing infrastructure assets globally. His particular focus is in project management of complex transactions and raising capital for projects (debt and equity) in a manner which best suits the key stakeholders.
