PII Charity Experience at the PII Reception & Dinner February 7, 2019
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Be Cool, Stay Cool, Act Cool at the PII charity “Shade Trade” scholarship fundraiser taking place during the PII Charity Reception and Dinner on Thursday, February 7 at the 2019 NPA Winter Leadership Forum.
WLF attendees are encouraged to donate a pair of designer sunglasses for our charity “shade trade” and donate $500. You will get the chance to be the first to trade your shades for another stylish pair of sunglasses from your peers. And everyone goes home a winner.
Fully 100% of the ticket price benefits the PII Charity to raise funds for college scholarships to parking pros and their families.
How It Works
During the PII reception, you can enjoy cocktails and conversations with your peers while viewing the display of donated sunglasses.
After the PII Dinner, all donors will randomly be assigned a sealed envelope, with a number inside. Donors will be asked to open their envelope at the conclusion of dinner. The numbers will determine who gets first pick of which sunglasses they take home. Good Luck!
So, get some cool shades, offer them for trade, and raise money for a very worthy cause. See below for some suggestions to make your shades the absolute coolest on the block.
Got a favorite brand of shades that you like? Low cost, high cost, it doesn’t matter. Buy the brand and share your cool look with everyone. See a list of top sunglasses brands.
Cool Story Got a cool story about the shades that you are donating? Were they a gift? A lucky pair? Your favorite brand? Submit your story and it will be displayed with your sunglass donation.
The Parking Industry Institute, a Foundation of the National Parking Association, supports the education and the educational opportunities of its membership, their employees and dependents. All donations tax-deductible. Learn more about PII.
Give them to the NPA staff at the WLF registration desk.
Cross your fingers and hope that you get first choice at the PII Shade Trade!
Thank you for supporting this PII charity fundraising event
