As Director of Car Park Management Systems at Walker Parking Consultant, Dan’s responsibilities include researching, analyzing and recommending solutions to parking problems involving technologies such as parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS), parking guidance systems (PGS), multi-space meters (MSMs), single-space meters (SSMs), license plate recognition (LPR), sensors, handheld units, cell phone applications and permitting systems. 

Prior to joining Walker, Dan was with a leading manufacturer of multi-space meter systems, and he’s held senior positions with several national parking operators.  Dan received his Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) certification through the International Parking Institute (IPI) and the University of Virginia.  He is currently serving his second term on IPI’s Board of Directors, and served six terms as President of the New England Parking Council.

Tom Szubka, CAPP, CPP, is the Regional Sales Manager of PARCS for T2 Systems.  Tom is responsible for representing T2 Systems’ PARCS product line in the Southeast United States.

Tom has been in the parking industry for more than 13 years with experience as a private operator, municipal operations, and as a technology solutions provider.  Prior to joining T2 Systems, Inc., Tom was the Operations Superintendent for the award-winning City of Tampa Parking Division where he oversaw several PARCS installations/upgrades, the installation of a multi-space on-street meter program, implementation of pay-by-phone technology, and the implementation of surface lot, multi-space meter program. 

In between his days as a private parking operator and his tenure with the City of Tampa, Tom took a five year break from the parking industry to serve as an executive with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the Director of Team Services where he was responsible for Travel & Logistics, Game Day operations, Community Relations, Training Camp, Special Events, and Cheerleading.

Tom is active with the Florida Parking Association, and serves his community as a Board Member for the United Way Suncoast – Tampa Board.  Tom holds a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois.
